Money- Does It Matter? Buddha with Zoe

Does money matter?

Conversations with Zoe and Buddha: Does Money Matter?

Buddha: Today I wish to speak to about wealth and whether it matters. This is a subject that many of you fight with yourself about. By wealth I am going to focus on money: the mechanism that you have for acquiring large amounts of things and experiences.

The world was made abundantly. There was always more for you than you could ever utilize or use. It was made with great love and given to you with great joy. More than you could ever utilize: a land of milk of honey. But where you have gone wrong is in thinking that more of it was meant for you than was designed for another.

Over the ages man has ensnared man even to the point of physical entrapment . Further more many have sold what they felt was their right to sell: the physical body of another. This is fundamentally against the principle upon which this reality, this earth, was created.

It is possible to go back to having enough for all but a culture shift will need to happen that is so vast you could call it cataclysmic. This will be started by a shift in consciousness. Many of you feel this. Your institutions feel this and their answer is to try and shore their institutions and themselves up in more wealth as if that means the cataclysm can’t and wont affect them.

Many of you are currently suffering feeling you do not have enough. If you feel this is you, please take the time to look around and you and see if this is true- do you really not have enough? Enough of what? Food? Look in your kitchen. Money? Look in your bank. And with this one also look at your spend. Many of you claim to not have enough but actually have more than you could ever maintain physically by yourself: your home, your cars, your electrical goods and so forth. This is indeed a time of change and in these times you are asked to look within and find your own personal answers to how much is enough for you. Once you have enough, cycle your excess: this was, and is, the basis of charity and community.

It is entirely possible that the cycle of money you circle in this life may come back to you when you may need it for yourself. Lonely is the person who shores themselves with big bank accounts and excesses of living whilst others are in pain. This is how it is. This is how it always has been. This is how it always will be. This is because you are part of each other. To shore yourself against another defies your nature, so your nature will suffer. To sell another for personal gain without thought and feeling for their well-being is another example. It defies your nature and so your nature must suffer.

I say end this suffering: discover your enough and circulate your excess. All is well with your world.

Working

Conversations with Jesus and Zoe: Work

Jesus: It is often asked of me why do I need to do this work?  Why can’t it be easy?  Better?  Different!

Work provides a focus for time.  It provides challenges, thrills, highs and lows.  It means productivity and ultimately civilisation as you understand it.

If everyone let go of work your worlds would become chaos.  Without focus, discipline and effort humans do not aspire to greatness.

So work is a way of striving for something better, brighter and bigger than you have.

This does not mean that I condone workaholism or results based efforts.  No.  I merely bring understanding on the importance of focus, effort, discipline.  So why not work?

More importantly learn to love your work.  Try this for one week – consciously engaging and positively expecting good things to happen.  Focus, effort and discipline can lift you to higher and greater things so do not dampen these talents with negative thinking towards your boss, job or colleagues.

Once you are striving for greater states it will become easier to meet me.  And this ultimately is my work for you.

With love.

All Is Impermanent: Buddha with Zoe

All Is Impermanent, http://conversationswithjesusandbuddha.com/all-is-impermanent/ ‎
All is Impermanent

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: All Is Impermanent

Buddha: Begin now to look at the world the way we see it.  This world is of temporary form- always shifting, always moving out, shifting each of your every lives.  This world that you live in is bigger, bolder and greater than the individual life that you currently inhabit.

With this knowledge learn to respect the earth.  Learn to keep the earth’s greatness in your mind and with every choice that you make be aware of consequence.  I say this to each and every one of you.Yet do not become fixed on the permanence of damage or sustainability or even on life itself.

Think of yourself as in transit. You are always moving from one form into another.  Birth, life stages, days, places that you visit- always moving in and out of form.  Not just within the lifetime of the soul but within the lifetime even of the day.  One moment is always different from the next, yet you remain.  So treat your host with respect and dignity, your host the earth. You are traveling through this lifetime and leave it well.

Begin to recognize that there are those that have gone before you who knew and understood this and worked to leave no footprint of themselves upon the earth. Take a step towards this. This will do two things: Firstly this will give the respect to the earth that it deserves. Secondly this will begin to train you in the nature of your reality right now as you sit and read these words. This moment, whilst real now, will be gone in a moment from now. Take from it what you need. Recognize the impermanence of all and become still and settled within that. Great is the suffering of the many who try and fix points through time, through desire.

Whilst great things can be achieved within a lifetime, within a year, within a month, a week, a day, all is just single moments threaded together. All is impermanent.

I taught to think of moments, of actions, of words spoken to others, of thoughts, all of these as beads on string. Each bead represents that thought, that moment, that desire, that action. This will be the legacy that the soul will carry forth from you. You will with you a string of beads and on that string will be your decisions whether you have been conscious of them or not. This is what you will take to what id beyond form. I taught that this is all that is important- a string of beads- and that isn’t even real in form but metaphysical.

Today I will teach you to value the impact of your life, your choices. Delve into your thoughts, your desires to help you become aware of the impact of your life and your choices, conscious or not.

Life is different today. Different in the fact that impact is greater, desire is greater, restlessness and suffering is greater and this happens at a time when many of you have more of that which is in form. Therefore switch your focus from your daytime job to give you things, material forms, and instead focus on your inner world. This is your real job and it matters not what you do in the world of form. What matters is how. Bring conscious awareness into your life, into your moment and learn to keep the focus on your internal world. learn to become aware of when you become out of yourself and learn to hold the moments where you are inside. Inside your body, inside your life, inside what you are doing- this is where you meet the present. This is where you are doing you inner work.

And this is all for today.

Look Within: Buddha with Zoe

Look within, http://conversationswithjesusandbuddha.com/method-of-madness/ ‎
Look within

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: In Times of Fear and Uncertainty Look Within

Buddha: We are living in a time of collective madness.  We are living in societies and civilizations, not all but most, where people are living with a collective consciousness below that of hysteria.  The threat is believed to come from every angle: from economic downturn, from terrorists, from immigrants, from racial minorities.

Within this context many of you will become uncomfortable, unable to function to the best of your abilities and unable to accept this way of being for yourself, for your community, for your country anymore.

When these times arise there is only one place to look that is not in defensive strategies, that is not in armament either of weapon or money.  The time to look is the time to look inside and to learn to become one with what you find there in. There is nothing to be frightened or fearful of inside of yourself.  There is nothing inside you that, with focus and dedication, cannot be turned into gold.  So during this time look inside without fear. There will be great reticence initially at doing this for what is hidden has been hidden for good reason or so the mind has told you.  But it is illusion as I repeat there is nothing that is within any human alive that cannot be turned into gold, that cannot be turned into the seeker and even the finder of better states of being.

I have been asked, “Why look within? Why will looking within and becoming at peace with what one finds be a strategy in uncertain times such as these?”

You are connected to the collective mind, to the consciousness of humanity.  For the consciousness to change be the change.  If enough people in uncertain times become stable and solid and stalwart then peace will be able to return.  Think of a life or death situation that is being faced by a group of people.  If there is one that is able to find the peace, the strength, the courage to stay in the moment and to deal with what is happening, that one is able to impact the hysteria of the many; not always successfully but impact would be made.

Now think if there were two or three or four, the odds are getting better aren’t they.  So in uncertain times when one is concerned with ones material future switch to ones interior future and begin the work.  By creating stillness, by allowing the system to harmonize, you will not only make more logical and grounded steps you will also impact the collective of everyone around you.

This is all for today.

Where Are You? An Exercise: Buddha with Zoe

Where are you? An Exercise, http://conversationswithjesusandbuddha.com/where-are-you-an-exercise/ ‎
Where are you?

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: Where are you? An Exercise

Buddha: So reader, with a pen and paper in front of you draw a square and put you name inside the square.

Now where are you, are you in your body or are you in the square?  Are you in both?  For those of you who are acquainted with the sensations of energy, are you pulled into the square therefore connected to it or do you simply feel nothing at all?

Now draw a circle under the square, put your name in this.  Draw a line connecting the square to the circle.  Where are you now? You are in your body, you are in the square, you are also in the circle and you have made a connection.

Now below the circle draw a square and write the name of your sibling or the name of your friend.  Where are you now?  You are in your body, you are in your square, your circle, the connections between your square and your circle.  Are you in this square with your sibling or friends name?  No for you can’t.  For those of you who are sensitive to energies do you feel attracted or repelled to the square with another name in it?  This square, with the other name in it, is a form that is separate to your own yet can you enter that form?  No. You can depict that form in letters and shape.  This has often been the case with art but can you enter the form of another?  No.

So you cannot enter the form of another.  But you can enter other forms of yourself.  Now I will try not to speak in riddles as this is a subject that I could speak about for many hours.

You, whilst here on earth, have a body yet you are able to put parts of yourself into form that is outside of your body.  You do this with your work.  You do this with your food when you create a meal.  With every creative project you put part of yourself and you become linked to that creative project.  So you create a trail whilst living; a trail of essence or, at least those who are working and connected to their essence, create this.

There is a piece of you in everything you will do, in everything you have ever done.  And this is deliberately been designed to be the case.  You are unbelievably creative and invest you in everything you do.  Yet the great experience for most of you is life lives on automatic pilot or with resistance.  Would you change what you did and what you do if you knew that part of yourself became invested in it and connected to it?

This is my question for all of you today.  You cannot escape your actions, the choices.  This is so.  At all times you can also change form.  This is so.  So when you realize that you have been drawing squares through deeds and realize that you do not like the fact that part of you is invested in a square then you can simply start from that point to draw a circle or any other shape you fancy.  For whilst you need to reconcile what has been done with what you do, with the present and with where you are, know that you can also use the present to create a new.

This is my lesson for today.

An exercise in kindness

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: An Exercise in Kindness

Buddha: Today we speak about the milk of human kindness.  Consider acting as if you are the kindest person ever placed on earth.  Try for one day, one hour, one minute to be kind in thought, action and deed.  Practice this.  After you have done so ask yourself how do you feel? Better or worse?  Give yourself a target time that you feel you can aim for and achieve whether this is one minute, one hour, one day, one week.  Work towards becoming the kindest you can be.  Even in the moments where worry, fear, anger and resentment arise.  Test yourself to see how quickly you can return to conscious kindness.

This in your lesson for today.

Energy Attachments: Buddha with Zoe

Energy attachments

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: Resistance to a State of Being

Buddha: Can you control the mind of another?  The answer is no. Can you control the desires of another?  The answer is no.

So what happens when someone wants something from you that you are unwilling to give? The thought forms and desire, we could even call it desirous energy, reaches you and the truth is that this happens many times a day.  For those that are evolving to understand feelings and concepts of energetic attachments, I say to you that you must look at mental attachments: your own.  For these thought forms and desirous energies wash over you.

So what, I hear my healers asking, is an energetic attachment?  An energetic attachment can only happen when you have resistance to a state of being.  Resistance to a state of being causes an interaction of such energetic disharmony that it becomes fixed until it can flow once more.  Let me explain:

We have a situation with this reader, Zoe.  She can feel another’s desire to be attachment to her.  She has felt repulsion at the attachment.  Even the concept of the attachment and the feeling response in her creates such an energetic disharmony between her and the other that they fix each other, therefore becoming attached.

So as one cannot control the mind or the desires of another, what is left if one wishes to be free of attachment? All that is left is your own state of being. All that is left is to free your own attachments and now I speak to you on a level of mind.

For anything that you resist or feel an emotional charge to, in this case repulsion or even adoration at the opposite end of the scale, fixes energy and thus is capable of forming attachments.

So all that is left is you, your relationship with mind and your willingness, ironically it may seem, to allow attachments.  Allow that which you find repulsive or adorable to wash over you accepting its state of being and fixing it not.  As that happens no attachment will be made for it is you my students who fix the attachment.  The feelers are always out, always washing over you.

This is an interesting discussion with me and I am happy to expand on points in the future.

Uniting with the Body Using Breath: Buddha with Zoe

Uniting the Body, http://conversationswithjesusandbuddha.com/uniting-the-bo…ith-the-breath/
Body and breath

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: Uniting with the Body Using Breath

Buddha: Today we are going to focus on respiration: in and out. Why have so many of my teachings, and those who have followed me, focused on the breath? Firstly, as everyone is aware, breathing happens with or without you. Secondly, when you consciously engage your breath you are consciously engaging with the state of being that is happening whether you are aware of it or not. This is one of the easiest, and always the most successful, way of being in the present moment. You cannot escape your breath for breathing is happening to you. But when you join with what is happening to you and offer no resistance, then oneness is developed. There is nothing quite like this. There need be no association with thought. So observation of breath and conjoining of being is my favorite tool for teaching people to become still and whole.

After a few breaths the system becomes energised. Energised not only from the oxygen it has been breathing, but from the release of energy that happens when one becomes present in any given moment. By being conscious of the breath, conscious and conjoining with what is happening and offering no resistance, a huge energy release is borne. It’s akin to a star burst. This is you, one, in ones full potential in any given time simply by being aware of the breath conjoining with being, activating energy. It is from here and only here that transcendental states can be reached.

And what is the message? The message is that one does not ever escape the body to achieve greater levels of spirituality. One doesn’t ever go anywhere else than where one is to achieve greater levels of spirituality. One simply stops, observes the breathes, star burst happens, and the transcendental experience can take place. Simple isn’t it?

In my life as Buddha, I tried everything I had ever heard of to achieve greater levels of spirituality, to reach nirvana. I tried everything that meant leaving the body, in some ways looking back now, killing the body. I also had had from my previous times experiences of indulging the body and all the body was doing was being! Simply responding to what I did with it. If I ate it would digest it, if I drank it would absorb, if I fell it would bruise, if I laughed it chortled. What a close relationship you have people, spiritual beings, with your body. This is something never to be overlooked, but something to be nurtured. This is your best friend. Look after it, but more importantly be one with it through oneness with it. The star burst happens the transcendental state can take place. Care not for what it looks like only its levels of health. If something needs fixed or restored work towards that goal in whichever way you know how. Do not criticise and judge it for being something that it is not, for it is and your development will happen through your uniting with the body, not from desecrating it for it being not something that is a construct of the mind.

So for all of you breathe, enjoy, relax, come and meet me [Buddha laughs].

Right Use of Mind: Buddha with Zoe

Right Use of Mind, http://conversationswithjesusandbuddha.com/right-use-of-mind/ ‎
Right use of mind

Conversation with Buddha and Zoe: Right Use of Mind

Buddha: We need to get to the bottom of why people do not choose to use their minds correctly.  A well working mind is like a well-oiled machine: it takes you clearly, decisively and definitively to where you need to be. Yet people choose to allow their minds to rust and take them down roads and paths to oblivion. There needs to be recognition, first, that the minds of men need to change.

Second, there needs to be a clear understanding that change can exist and thirdly, there needs to be easy to use methodical, logical, dependable, un-debatable tools.  You cannot escape the mind although the mind can escape you.  This is not something to be feared or fearful of.

Mind simply exists.  It was created as a means of allowing humans to rise above that of the levels of animal.  As I’ve said before, this has happened. However, for many this has meant dipping below the level of animal.  With needless violence, killing, disgracing, maiming and shocking. What for? For the purpose of satiating an out of control ego.
